The Swedish machine-safety market is fragmented and contact-driven. Without the right ways in, you don't get through, no matter how good the product is. About Silta

We connect companies.

Silta means bridge in Finnish. It isn't a marketing name.

Marko Arola was born in a house called Siltala (the bridge place) in Kestilä, Finland. Three decades later he founded Silta Consulting AB in Gävle, Sweden, on Finland's Independence Day, 6 December 2023. That the name means bridge wasn't a marketing idea. It was a homecoming.

Behind Silta is Marko. He has 30+ years behind him as CEO, Sales and Marketing Director, business developer, Procurement Director and IT Manager in Nordic companies across food, process, recycling, packaging and start-up tech. He has sat on every side of the table: as the buyer, as the seller, and as the IT manager whose job is to make three countries cooperate in the same IT system.
